Previous work from Nadine de Kœnigswarter
Visual artist and photographer, Nadine de Kœnigswarter has travelled for some years between France and Senegal.
We first met her in Saint-Louis and then back in Paris.
Her work has always been guided by music and rhythm - her life, underscored by jazz. Thus the wish to collaborate quickly became an imperative.
In March 2007 Nadine joined Sabar Ring whilst in creative residence in Saint Louis, Senegal.
Witness of the musical creation process at work between Thôt, Ivan Ormond and the Sabar musicians of Saint-Louis, she produces photographs and sketches and begins...
The consequent artistic immersion will instigate a work to be produced in the Paris studio.
